Fifth Post

Fifth Post!

For a while I didn't post about my book but this time I will start and finish my post I hope.

I want to be bad the end of novel this time because books and movies I have ever watched always ending by winning good side. But this time I want that the main and good characters will lose and they will have some problems that they wouldn't solve and terrible things will happened to them in my end.

I chose this wordle because the colour of background is black which represents the secret I thought. The words colour as similar to book cover's colour. Green is the most common colour in cover. I like the words because there are important words in it. Cupboards is the most important word. Then Henry,wall,another,shapes, broken are the other importnat words. When a reader reads this wordle I think he/she would be curious about it because the book is also exciting.

Favorite scene in "100 Cupboards"


Hi! Today I am going to talk about my favorite scene in "100 Cupboards". I hope you will like it.


My favorite scene so far is the part when Henry and Henrietta unlocked the door and after.They did not know what is in it but they didn't afraid of it and they tried to open it. They were trying to open the cupboard. First they tried to push it but nothing happened. They needed items to open it maybe like an axe or a flashlight. "Henry looked in again.''It's clear enough'', he said, ''but I still can't see anything. We need a flaslight."(page 73) It was about to open. Henry and Henrietta made a guess what was it. Then Henry was holding a metal. It slid to Henrietta and she screamed. Henry and Henrietta felt from the bed. They were fine, but they scared. And there is a sound what came from the cupboard. They both heard the sound. "They both held still for a moment,listening. ''Can you hear that?'' she asked. ''What is it?''. '' It sounds like trees blowing around,'' Henry said."(page 75) Henry got up and he sat in the bed. He looked at the cupboard and a cool wind came from the cupboard. Henry tried to see what is inside of it but then wing blowing became a gust. Henry's room became a beach becauses dust was everywhere. They thought there is a waterfall in it because the noise was like a waterfall and they smelled it. Then they shut it because Uncle Frank would feel it. Henry wouldn't believe what happened, he tried to explain it was about physic but Henrietta made a better guess, she said it was a magic.


It is my favorite scene because it is very exciting and in my mind I made comments what will happen. I am also exciting about other cupboards because there are different cupboards and I don't know what is inside of cupboards.

I chose this image becauses there is a space and I don't know what is in it. It makes exciting about it and there is a circle of flames that we can understand there is magic. Maybe it isn't same with my favorite scene but it is similar.

I chose this song because if you watch Da Vinci Code you can understand the feeling of this song. In this song I feel that there are some mysterious and unknown events about the story and in the story there are mysterious things. For example there are some sounds from the door. And in the ecstacy of the song I feel that there is victory or end of the mysterious events. The end could be information, death or money. In the book I think Henry will find out what happens and that is explaining why I chose this song.

There is boy called Henry who is twelve years old and whose parents kidnapped for unknown reasons. They are traveler writers we just know this information.  Henry came from Kansas and he moved to his uncle's house. He is living with 3 cousins , his uncle and his aunt. Henry's uncle name is Frank , his cousins Anasteasia, Henrietta and Penelope but they call him Penny and his aunt's name is Dotty. For now Henry seems calm about his family. He came to the house and he had a conversation with his cousins about a boy and they joke each other.
Henry realized , there are some different things in the house. For example he learnt that there is a door locked for 2 years. In the past it was the granddad’s room but this room is locked since granddad died.  One day he couldn’t sleep because he heard freaky sounds from the wall. He got out of bed and he went to bathroom. He saw a light in the bathroom and he waited in the stairs. When the door opened , Henry saw an old man and old man went to granddad’s room. Henry thought it was just a dream. Everything goes well until night comes. Another day he couldn’t sleep because of freaky sounds either but this time he found a plaster in his hair. He didn’t know where it came from but then he saw two knobs which had broken. Knobs look mysterious and Knobs have different symbols.Henrietta saw that wall and Henry and Henrietta knew what happened in his room. They thought they shouldn’t say it to Uncle Frank or Dotty, or cousins.They wanted to find what was the wrong about the door , sounds and knobs.
